2009年的第九章 —— “放假比上课还闷 / 育华人，你知道这些育华文化吗？”

“放假比上课还闷。”，我的心这么对我说。

才过了三天，这么快就那么闷了。“神啊！救救我吧！一把年纪啦！不可能要我发呆吧！”（改编于陈小春的歌），我可是会发疯的！你们有什么秘方可以教我，好让我能能好好度过这沉闷的光阴。为了让我还活在这世上，请献给我一些锦囊妙计吧，我先在此致谢。

在育华有一段很长的日子了，当我回忆在育华度过的种种时光，真的非常高兴。你们可又知道育华的文化吗？我的网友（学兄）在面子书（facebook）开了一个团体（group），当中的话题可是非常劲爆！就让你们都读吧！

Yu Hua Culture (latest updated)

1. Students take more than 20 minutes to go to the toilet.
2. The place where the rabbits live are replaced by buildings.
3. There is only one photostat shop and is always flooded with people when you need to use it.
4. No one likes the cadet.
5. The St. John room is the place where you hide stuffs from being confiscated.
6. You heard rumors of the bilik sukan block opposite the library is gonna be bulldozed. (updated 2009)
7. The library is underground.
8. The smarter you are, the more stairs there is for you to climb just to get to your class.
9. You found out through your friends that there is a forum that talks bad stuffs about teachers.
10. Prefect's discipline is worse than the average student.
11. Everyone hates Mr. Yong.
12. Everyone still hates Mr. Yong. (updated 2009)
13. Almost all the desks are vandalized by liquid paper.
14. The students of 4C and 5C are the top in school which means C is the new A. (updated 2009)
15. You need to pay to see a performance by your own school during Culture Night.
16. All the revision books in library are outdated and no where near the current syllabus.
17. All the books in library are old and falling apart.
18. The toilet above the old koperasi is now the new Chinese's society store room.
19. The old koperasi became a toilet.
20. The bilik pengawas is always dusty.
21. The reading corner beside RYH is now the gathering point for Girl Guide. (updated 2009)
22. The old badminton court behind St. John room is now a building with classes.
23. No one really listens to the announcement by RYH.
24. If you want to become a member of RYH, you must have a lot of CDs.
25. Every morning you have to gather in the hall for no reason except monday but you still find it very annoying.
26. No one sings the national anthem when it is played.
27. You sing it because you were forced to.
28. The teacher doesn't care if someone's phone rang during exam.
29. Every night before the exam, you get a sms telling you tip.
30. You are late, your name gets written down by prefect and nothing happens.
31. If you know you are late, please make sure you are really late.
32. You heard there is a society called Cheer Group but wondered what happened to it.
33. You bring money during Merentas Desa so that you can buy drinks on the way.
34. The cheapest food for value is probably the nasi lemak but you hate it anyway.
35. The people you hang out with are normally your classmates.
36. Many people will buy drinks at koperasi at 12.30pm sharp.
37. You got a haircut for free during perhimpunan somewhere in 2007.
38. You bribe the Pengerusi/Setiausaha to get full attendance during the time when they calculate your curriculum marks.
39. Yu Hua Idol is probably the only event you will go during your whole year in school.
40. There is a meeting in library about crew cut between teachers and pengerusi.
41. You heard of rumors that a shopping complex is gonna be build just across the street.
42. The rumors are true. (updated 2009)
43. You hide in the toilet during perhimpunan just to avoid being caught with long hair if you are a guy.
44. Your liquid paper is confiscated during spot check.
45. Only the class 5C has students other than chinese.
46. You need to wear a tag to go to the toilet but you don't wear them anyway.
47. You would rather be caught dead than wearing that tag so you put it in your pocket when you go to the toilet.
48. Buku Kawalan is probably the stupidest thing the school ever came up with.
49. The teachers use the Buku Kawalan to threaten the students.
50. There is a society called Anti-Deman-Denggi. (updated 2009)
51. You have to maintain crew cut for almost your whole life in school and you hate it.
52. You were about to graduate, they abolished that rule.
53. 4E/5E (2006-2007) has the most "bananas" (students who are better in the English language compared to Mandarin).
54. The robotic club is the club where they have a private lounge behind the old staff room, and members could actually skip classes. (Although some teachers complained)
55. Interschool basketball competition is one of the hottest event in the school, where everyone goes to the "toilet" to spend quality time watching the game.
56. There was once a very mild earthquake felt in the school during 2007.
57. When it's teachers day, it's celebrated as teacher's "hour" instead. Only one hour of events, and back to classes as usual.
58. "PUSAT TUISYEN EXCEL" and Miss Lee (now known as Mrs Lee) are the top tuition places favoured by students.
59. Anything that's white in the school will soon be filled with shoe prints.
60. Some people don't believe in flushing the toilet.
61. Your friends said they didn't do well in the exam but still managed to get an A.
62. You failed Kesusasteraan Cina and laughed about it.
63. You heard from a friend who heard from another friend that there are ghost in school
64. No one really cared about how well you did in Pendidikan Jasmani.
65. You cheated in an exam without getting caught... most of the time...
66. Couple updates are big news.
67. DotA is one of the most discussed topic in school. Some people could discuss strategies and past matches for a whole week.
68. You know someone or someone who knew someone that skipped school to play DotA at cyber cafes.
69. The birthday boy will be attacked by majority of the male population until the "main target" has revealed
70. Jay Chou is the big deal that time
71. If there's a topic bigger than Dota, it definitely would be football...
72. You are not allowed to eat in class but you still do it anyway.
73. You know someone who knows a lot of people.
74. Copying other student's work is a normal thing.
75. You hope your teacher doesn't come to class.
76. You find yourself donating money frequently.
77. You have a list of all the other classes' timetable.
78. You hardly bring textbooks to school.
79. You can't remember what you've learned last year... or worse... yesterday...
80. You slept in class without being caught by the teacher... most of the time...
81. The position of "Ketua Publisiti" means in charge of decorating the Papan Kenyataan only.
82. No one really wanted to join the Chinese Society... If they did, they are probably forced to by a certain person we all hate. (refer to 11 & 12)
83. The main purpose of English Society is to sell newspaper called the STAR.
